Tom Hanks als Reisender, in dessen Heimatland über Nacht die Regierung gestürzt und eine neue Republik ausgerufen wird. Dummerweise darf er nun nicht in die USA einreisen, bis diese die neue Republik anerkannt haben. Ausreisen wird ihm jedoch ebensowenig gestattet. Nun lebt er auf dem JFK Airport.

Eine lustige Idee, bis Spielberg durchschlägt. aber trotzdem recht niedlich.
