"Spike Spiegel is a bounty hunter (a cowboy in the parlance of the times) with a mysterious past, great fighting skill, and a reckless attitude towards his own safety. He and his partner, the level-headed cyborg Jet Black, travel the solar system on their ship, the Bebop, looking for big bounties and a good meal, and living close to broke. Along the way the acquire a number of hanger-ons: the sexy and often deadly Faye Valentine; the freakishly wierd 13-year old genius hacker Ed; and a highly intelligent welsh corgy named Ein. Perpetually broke and hungry, they travel the seedier side of the solar system and galaxy looking for the big scores."
